Eligibility
- Open to all Aspiring Filmmaker.
- Groups and teams allowed.
- If an entrant is under legal adult age in their jurisdiction, entry must include written consent from a parent or guardian.
- Entries must be original works created by the entrant(s), not infringing on any third-party rights.
Judging & Evaluation Criteria
- Alignment with the theme “Mental Health” (relevance & depth)
- Storytelling strength: clarity, impact, emotional engagement
- Technical quality: cinematography, sound, editing
- Creativity & originality
- Sensitivity and ethical portrayal
Submission Rules
- Registration Last date : 29th Sep 2025
- Submissions Link will open from 1st Oct 2025 11:00am to 6th Oct 2025 2:00pm
- Collaboration with Cognisoul : On Oct 6th 2025 10.00am to 10:00pm Only (Eligible only after Collaboration)
- Winners and finalists will be notified by email on 7th Oct 2025 or 8th Oct 2025.
- Late entries will not be considered.
Liability & Legal
- Entrants assert they hold all rights related to their submission and indemnify the organizers against any claims.
- Organizer is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from participation.
- If the event is cancelled, postponed, or altered for reasons beyond control (force majeure), organizers will notify participants and act reasonably.
Privacy & Contact Information
- Participants must provide accurate contact info.
- Organizers will use the above for communication.
- Personal data will be handled per privacy laws. Names/films may be published; full addresses or personal info will not be shared without consent.
Originality & Copyright
- Filmmaker must own or have permission for all components used: visuals, music, voice-over, archival footage, etc.
- Necessary releases must be obtained for people featured (appearance), and locations used (property release) where applicable.
- No unlicensed copyrighted material.
Purpose & Theme
- The theme of the competition is Mental Health.
- Video should explore, educate, or highlight aspects of mental health: awareness, stigma, personal stories, treatments, community impact, etc.
Subject & Content Guidelines
- As Given the sensitive subject, portray mental health with respect, accuracy, and sensitivity.
- Avoid gratuitous depictions of trauma, violence, or stigma without purpose.
- If including sensitive content (self-harm, suicidal ideation, etc.), it is encouraged to include resources or disclaimers
Technical Requirements
- Submissions must meet required technical standards (file format, resolution, audio channels, subtitles).
- Films should be hosted via upload or video link that allows download/streaming as specified. Links must remain active until after the event.
Language & Subtitling
- Films can be in all languages – and subtitle in English .*(Mandatory)
Entry Limit & Fees
- Each filmmaker or team may submit only one video.
Disqualification
- Entries will be disqualified if they violate rules: late submission, incorrect format, use of copyrighted material without license, or breach sensitive content guidelines.
- Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any submission that violates spirit or terms even after selection.
Length & Format
- The Movie must be a completed work, including picture lock and final sound mix.
- Duration: 5-minute maximum, including all credits and titles.

- Optional: higher resolution accepted but must not exceed file size limit of [e.g. 2 GB].
- Reel length should be 90 seconds (excluding title), and all other guidelines outlined above should be strictly followed.
Rights & Permissions
- By submitting, entrants grant the competition organizers a non-exclusive license to: screen the film at the competition’s events, post it on competition’s website or social media, and use excerpts (e.g., trailers or promo clips) for promotional purposes. Full copyrights remain with the creator(s).
- Entrants allow use of names, film title, country/city of origin, and filmmakers’ images for publicity.
Amendments
- Organizers reserve the right to amend the rules in exceptional cases; any changes will be publicized before the deadline.
